Bio-Di received Ok Compost certification
Bio-Di Biopolymer has been certified OK Compost issued by TÜV Austria.
Today, the only way to be sure that a product is biodegradable and compostable is obtaining the aforementioned certification. The OK Compost certification ensure full compliance with the technical standard EN13432. The compliance with that standard is now mandatory for the commercialization of shopping bags, which have to be biodegradable and compostable. This obligation has been established in Italy by Law no. 28 of 24 March 2012, which is the "conversion LAW Decree-Law of 25 January 2012, n. 2 containing extraordinary and urgent measures on the environment. "
